Paragon is the second of two pinball machines that I own. I purchased it back in June 2009 with the help of a local arcade buddy who located the machine and transported it to my house. It was in very good shape except for one crucial issue: the backglass was replaced with a terrible looking translite. In the years since, I searched for a replacement and waited for a reproduction. A week ago I finally found one from a member here who was willing to ship it. I've been crawling the walls waiting for the worst to happen, shipping glass can either go well or very badly. I am sure members here won't like the condition of the backglass, but I am happy to have it and the member is happy to have it help save a Paragon.

Arrival and unboxing, notice the size. My first view of the glass, from the back. The entire back has been preserved with clear shipping tape. Nowadays this is done with triple thick, but this is probably all they had available back then:

Backlights re-arranged to accentuate the good features of the glass and minimize the cracks:

Glad to see it back in a game being displayed!!! It has been hanging on my wall for too long, longingly looking over at the other backglass, taking all the glory!!!!

glad it made it
