paradise arcade

First page. I think Bryan is a good guy. But this is a very common problem anymore. So I take my business else ware I don't have the time to wait a month for a couple joy sticks. On a better note I do believe you will get your stuff hopefully soon. Good luck. Tony

Same thing, you'll "eventually" get your stuff but the misplaced mail and wife mailing and all these additional excuses are getting old.

I still want to see all those postings where everyone was yelling at the people who "dare" even make a thread about this when it's becoming a very frequent thing.

Hobby or not if you are running a business or are selling items or a service actively it is completely unfair to expect everyone to wait this long...

Yeah I dropped $200+ with them so Id like to get my things. I gave them a little slack for it being Hawaii but its neen a month and they still havent even mailed it.

As far as I know they haven't screwed anyone yet. They are just very dysfunctional. They eventually took care of my issues with them but it took a while and a lot of effort on my end. In the end I did get my product. Look in the feedback section for more details.

id just order from nixs who is a member on here. he always comes through. paradise ships on a slow boat and sometimes it even sinks! they suck at running a business. ed

It took a couple of months for them to ship out my order. They keep you informed, so if you haven't received an 'order shipped' update then they haven't shipped your order.

I really got the feeling the last time I placed an order that they have nothing in stock (despite the claims on their website) and had to wait for their supplier to send them the parts before they could fill my order.

I worked with Bryan on my reproduction 4" WICO shafts and he has been great to work with and never let me down. I am sure he is out there to make some extra cash, but he also wants to help the community and the hobby. He could have just made the shafts himself and undercut me, but instead he helped me get them out there. I have talked to him on the phone several times and he sounds like a great (but REAL busy) guy.

They can be slow, and I just take that into consideration when I order stuff from them, but they have always come through for me. The slowness is an issue and should be addressed if he wants to keep this going long term.

Great products, great guy, always comes through, but yes...can be a bit slow.

what I got from him before was good but I'm not going to order from him again. Waiting months for my buttons to light up just isn't worth it. I can order parts from raleigh and get them next day. It's ridiculous to have to wait so long for parts when there are so many other options out there.

My story is they processed my shipment the day I ordered and then didn't ship it for a week. Then Susan lied to me about sending a second shipment. Then they finally shipped the original items about 3 days later.

I think more timely order fulfillment and communication would be better than a token candy treat.

There's plenty of alternatives.

Lizard Lick? Good luck with that, they are slow and always out of stock. Paradise provides items that aren't available elsewhere.

Lizard Lick is out of buisness AFAIK.

Paradise is a great company with some of the nicest people on this planet. Shipping can be slow, but it's well worth it.
BALL TOPS... BALL TOPS... BALL TOPS...

Says the kid who has been working on a vapor cabinet for almost 10% of his life.

Slow shipping is only "worth it" when there are no alternatives. BTW, Susan directly lied to me so I don't really think they are the "nicest people on the planet". Perhaps you can be bribed with a piece of candy. I can't.

For my Mr. Do! project, they cost me 10 days by implying my order was in transit when it wasn't.

You need to meet a few more people before you have the experience to decide who the "nicest people in the world" are.

If they know they are going to drag their feet on delivery they should not take your money up front. Maybe do COD.

I thought lizard lick was a repo reali show? I was thinking PB&J in raleigh.

I'm sorry but paradise arcade sucks. I bought a gamebox 450-1 a year ago from them and he shipped it with absolutely no packaging. tossed it in a box and shipped it. arrived DOA and I had to send it back. he did send me another one, however that one was DOA too but I replaced the power supply in it and got it working.

nice people but their business sucks. end of story
