I'll admit, I sold my Paperboy that I restored a year or so ago. However, I still have a Paperboy converted to Champ Sprint cabinet and a couple of sets of Paperboy boardsets.

We've seen a lot of metal stuff get reproduced, and with the cost of Paperboy stuff lately, I'm kinda surprised that the control panel stuff hasn't been. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not as if one would have to reproduce a complete controller assy. Might be nice to buy the metal parts, source rebuilt parts or reuse old, and build up a controller assy.

The brass bushings, pots, springs, gears are available in repro or NOS. Not sure how available the shafts are. The harness could easily be repro'd or DIY'd even.

Two benefits I see from 'new' parts - The original controller had a couple of welds that broke, I had to get mine rewelded, so that would be a plus in a new piece. New parts would be without pits in the plating.

Has anyone (Troy?) ever seriously considered taking on these parts? Do the housings match the SW controller parts?
