I have no sound from the right channel. I have a TDA 2030 on the way. I want to know which of these is for the right channel and should be changed....

wish I could tell you, the bottom one on my game burnt out so I dont think its that one. Also, you may want to recap that AR/III. that made mine work.

Can anyone tell me how to check these on the board to see if they are working or not?

Its probably a pcb problem and not an audio reg problem. system 2 boards can have left and right channel issues as well as speech.

Changed both 2030s today and still only the left channel working. Can someone tell me if the 2002s ( Q9 & Q10) on the pcb are for the audio? Q9 looks burnt up to me and gets really hot.

Im going to change that 2002 next. I will let you know.

Looks like someone already swapped Q9 out - that part # with the V in it is for a vertical mount IC. Someone bent the pins and inserted it on the board. Check the output part of the circuit for shorted caps, shorted wires or miswiring in the harness, or a bad speaker.

I changed out the crispy 2002 and now have sound to the left channel. Thing is that it (the left channel) is now much louder than the right channel and very tinny and broken up sounding...if that makes sense. Got to be one of the resistors im guessing. Anyone??

I have checked the pot and the speaker and these are not the problem.

Did you check that resistor that I mentioned? Its likely out of tolerance or even open.

You guys realize you bumped a THIRTEEN MONTH OLD THREAD?
