Well, I finally did it. I had chris25810 over for a playdate and we finished the Paperboy. Thanks to Rikitiki for the new white vinyl for the sides (ridiculously thin-just like Atari) and the black vinyl for the inner shroud area and the kickplate. Thanks to myself, RM and especially prOk, for the nice, previously unavailable side art (if you have calouses on your hands, DO NOT use them to rub on the artwork. Scratches easily.) New Black t-molding finished the job. BTB, I am experimenting with some leftover white vinyl. LMK your thoughts on the contrasting kickplate. Supposed to be black, but I like the contrast of the white and the way it ties in with the sides. Honest opinions please, I will not be offended:

This one has been sold to Fatherpain (he has already paid for it), so please, no PM's asking me if it's for sale. It was, but now it's not

Dude, you should have put the before pics to show how drastic this resto was. That cab was a mess when you got it.

I like the white on the kickplate and you are right, it does tie it in with the white sides. However, in most gamerooms, you cant see the sides of cabs so I worry that the white will look out of place. I would leave it black unless you know its going to be on an end of a row.

Great job (as always) on the cab.

looks B-A-UTIFUL PB!
good thing you added the extra white, makes it easier to find that coin door

Thanks Rich, yeah there really is no contrast in that whole boring, black muti-facetted, coindoor/kickplate area and everything just gets lost. Black vinyl, black t-mold, black coindoor, black cp box. That's why I was gonna try red or blue t-molding, but Tom wanted to go OG Black.

BTB, huge thanks to:

-Chris25810 for lending more than just his expert hand
-Rikitiki for the vinyl
-RM for helping to finish this artwork
-prOk for printing it
-Anthony at QA for a nice used cp to replace this thing:

Maaan this makes me want to get off my ass and get to installing a cap kit, rebuilding the handlebar controller, and installing the new black front vinyl on mine. I need to finish my Millipede first before I concentrate on anything else though.

That looks excellent, great job! And yes thanks to you and everyone else for getting that art produced.

The contrast looks nice, but for mine I'll just be keeping it all black in front. I've had the artwork and the side and front vinyl for awhile I just haven't gotten around to getting mine done yet. I have a new medium res. monitor to install too. Hopefully the weekend after next I'll get it done.

Nice job Phet.... The white is an improvement to the front regardless. I always knew you soft sensabilitiessssss in interior desssign would cum in handy.

That an old Virtua Fighter in the rear of the shop?

As always, awesome job Phet!

Since you mentioned that the art was easy to damage did you end up @#$@$#%$#?

EDITED for EVERYONE's protection
