Ok, here goes.
I need a full Paperboy boardset, unhacked harness, clean brick, and control panel, all in good working order, preferably from a damaged cab since I don't believe in parting out good complete games.
All parts need to be packaged very well, as if they are sheets of tempered glass, for shipping to Mississippi.
I know what I'm asking for may as well be a speckled diamond unicorn from another planet, but please be reasonable. This is the last game I want added to my collection before I call it quits.
Thank you all for any help you can provide.

I have a fully working board set. I've owned it as a back up for my Paperboy but I'm thinking about selling it. Not sure where to price it and was going to put it on eBay but what are you willing to pay?

Because eBay is how you price stuff.

Well, I'd agree that using an eBay ASKING price isn't a valid gauge of value. But that ad has 17 bids so unless they are shill bids, that's probably what one would expect to pay for one right now.

600-700 seems to be the going price these days - and condition for some weird reason doesn't seem to ever factor in... I've seen rusted out and worn out ones go for 600+ and nice drop in ones for 700.

If someone has a ragged (but complete) one that I could just BORROW, I'd have the thing repro'd and stop all this ridiculous price gouging. $600-800 my ASS.

I've seen 2 controls locally that were take offs from water damaged cabs and both sold for $769 each!! And trust me when I say they were worn lol. I couldn't believe it, but they sold within a day.

I made an interest thread for this stuff a while back and not a peep. Takeman would get this done if sufficient interest, but it doesn't seem like there is. I was thinking that even if someone has a controller, they might be interest in brand new, plated metal parts.

I offered up my controller for this in that other thread as long as I get a new one out of it or at least shiny chrome bits for it, though I don't want it gone for 6 months

It's weird that people would drop $600 for a piece of shit and not the $100 extra for a nice and ready one. I'm guessing they popped up at different times which explain it

Yes, the inconsistency is seller based, not the buyer... they don't come up for sale much so when they do people buy them out of expediency.
