Question about a paperboy monitor chassis. i just got a Paperboy. Monitor works but has some issues, I will cap it when I have time, but want to play now. I want to buy a chassis,I found one its a 4915 med res chassis for sale.

Problem is Im not familiar with the 4900 series. The the chassis in the Paperboy looks the same as the one for sale, but mine in not marked,so im not positive its a 4915.

Is a 4915 the only chassis that was put in paperboy:confused:

Im sure mine is a 4900 series, I just dont know the exact number since the tag is missing. I just wondering if it will make a difference, or will any 4900 med res chassis work???

Just make sure it's a Medium res... there are TWO 4900's and the Medium res is the one you want... It has a small remote board on the top...

My paperboy has a k7635 series Medium res. I had a champ sprint (same cabinet) and it had a 4915 medium res in it. I also have a spare K7915 chassis that is compatible with the same tube as the k7635.

My Paperboy has the 4915. Hardest monitor for me to get working yet. Took two broken chassis before I could get one going. I have two working chassis now, but both have slight issues.

Well, the K5515 looks just like it, too, but is meant for the 25" version. Oh yeah, and all the K5500's have that little board on it. My K5501 has one....

I'm also struggling with a DISCO AGM-20M medium res in my Paperboy that was DOA, trying to decide whether to try and fix or replace, it's got an unusual configuration as it's from a very early cab (#34). There's no activity at all from the monitor, no hums, buzzes or anything...
