My Paperboy is having calibration issues. I have both pots removed from the control panel but still connected.

In the calibration, it looks as if each pot will change both the steering and acceleration values when I manually turn them. I thought they were independent of each other. In test, one pot says OK and one says BAD. The controls were working but were sporadic at times.

I don't think this is normal although I could be wrong.

I'm thinking this could be a wiring issue. I've re-wired the control panel molex connector on both ends and re-pinned the pcb headers and each of the molex wiring adapters that attach to the pcb.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a wiring problem.

This is what I'm thinking. I'm going to have to go over it again.

I should get some pots anyway as the one's I have are pretty dirty. Although, they Ohm out good.

It was the pots. Installed new one's and it's never steered better. What a difference.
