looking at a token slot for a guy, its a aristocat double face.. went down after a power surge

setting code e6 on powerup, hopper is full and reset didnt help. manual hopper test button makes hopper spit out tokens, so id guess thats o.k.

also not sure if its related but the coin solenoid wont work so tokens all reject, and the light that lights up the reels is not on either.

I have tried the soft reset with the outer door key( turning left) and a hard reset by jumping the hard reset switch wires( didnt have a key) thats on the power supply. Tried both togther nada. Pressing the button behind the front door with a display does nothing. I guess thats supposed to light up with a 1-6 to indicate settings or some krap? ciz if so, it aint workin heh

frickin jap krap.. hopefully i can fix this thing..

frickin jap krap....

Congratulations. I will never assist you.

EDIT: Sorry, terms/statements like the one you used, and other commonly used "it's not racist it's just an expression" phrases that are actually racist bother me, maybe more than they should.

um.. ok. Im irish, you can call me a blarney stone kissing potato famine mick if you want

:D

To reset machine:

Turn power switch off
Turn reset key on
Turn power switch back on
Hold down front spin handle
While still holding down spin handle, turn reset key back off

You should hear the coin mechanism re-energize when reset is successful.

Well i feel bad, i was able to reset it after all. Had to solder in a switch and also this one required that i also hold the door ley left at the same time.. I feel bad because i took it in on trade troards repair on other games. I honestly did not knowingly thonk it would be this simple of a fix.

Pachislos are quite fun! I just picked up my second one yesterday.

In my first one, I had bought an auto-stop board for it and used it for close to 10 years. It made the machine stop just like an American slot machine. I took the board out about 6 months ago and love it MUCH more now! Being in control of stopping the reels adds to the suspense, IMO.

Personally, I prefer the pachislos over a typical slot machine. At least with the pachislo, there's SOME thinking involved, instead of brainlessly pulling a handle and watching a machine spin. :)

These "Jap crap" (Lol!) machines are a bit tricky at first when clearning an error, but they are not terribly difficult.

where did you get the autostop board? i want one. Skill stop is fun for about a day then sucks having to press 5 buttons every spin

I found the one I have on eBay, but there are other vendors online that sell them. I'm pretty sure Stealth Home Amusements sells them now, too.
