My Last Action Hero's crane ramp was yellow from the factory. Currently the paint has worn off in a couple of spots and a little bit of rust is showing. What is the best way to repair this? Wire wheel and just prime and paint? Powder coating? Any help would would be appreciated.

It was originally powder coated. If you paint it, I'd be worried about rapid paint wear. Powder coating is much more durable (and most powder coaters will include sand blasting).

I originally though powder coating was the way to go, but I was told it was a brittle finish. I guess if it was originally powder coated, than that is my best bet. Thanks.

You know.....I have no idea what a "brittle finish" is. Did they elaborate on what that was?

Probably not a viable option, may cost too much, but if you don't mind the color on the inside wearing off (I think it won't hold where the ball rolls...) you could also look into having it anodized. That would potentially give you a wide range of colors to choose from, but probably won't look factory.

You should bling that ramp out and have it brass/gold plated! Why screw around with paints when you can have a metal finish? :D
