My DE Star Wars has chrome legs on it, but it should have black legs. Can/should I paint the chrome legs black, or should I just buy black ones and replace them? I'v never tried painting chrome before, so I wasn't sure if I'd have good results.

Thanks,

yes you can paint them

go to your auto parts store and get a scratch pad to ruff them up so paint will stick.you may want to see if the have a expoxy primer to help paint adhere.or what i do is give them a light sand blasting then a thin coat of primer them paint.

I'd leave them, I like the chrome.

If your chrome legs are in nice condition...I don't think I'd mess with them. Save them for another machine that uses chrome legs and buy you some new black legs. On a side note...pinball legs take a lot of abuse. Paint just doesn't stay put on them very well....powder coating is much more permanent.
