Here's the official sign up list for painted/stenciled cabs. I did run into an issue with doing sign up now/pay later. I was expecting a pretty good chunk of money soon, that would have allowed me to cover these until thier done, and there was a few snags with it. I do need to ask for a deposit, and balance due when the cab is completely finished/ready to go. I am asking for enough to cover materials, 300.00 deposit. Here's the cabs available, and each is 650.00 total. You'll be getting a new birch cabinet, with new leg levelers and plates, completely painted/stenciled per factory. We've added a few new ones to the mix as well. Burgertime may/may not have the coin face stenciled, we are doing a test cab to see if it's up to our standards. In the event they are not to our standards, they will have the coin face art from TOG applied to them, with no change in price. Here's the list:

1. Burgertime

2. Joust*

3. Robotron*

4. Irish paint scheme Robotron, in a joust style cabinet (looks pretty close - Black paintjob and the stenciling is more involved, covers more of the cabinet)*

5. pac man

6. ms pac man

Smalltownguy2
Rlevin

7. Berserk

*=Robotron and joust do not include the wood control panel. I don't have the ability to make these yet, due to the odd angles on them.

300.00 deposit, and your name goes on the list. I will be starting these on Monday, so please have your deposit in by Sunday 1/15/2012 PM me for paypal info, or any questions, thanks! Brett.

I guess this is reffered to as a UK robotron. Black red and white paint scheme. I know Joust isn't exactly the same, but it's close, and makes a unique Robotron for sure. I may even just Mod the side profile of my robotron plan to make it more the shape of the one shown, probably the best bet.

heh.. i was unaware Berserk had a textured finish! I copied a Frenzy cabinet. I do have an original berserk i bought out of NY but it isn't here yet. I'd have to look at it, i am unsure on that one! can anyone show me pics or chime in on the texture thing?

I guess it's something you have to see up close to fully understand. Most people who redo their cabs don't try and reproduce the textured finish. I was just curious as to what your plan was. I've attached pictures of my cab but I think you will fully understand when you see one up close.

i can see the texture now. I'd have to say that we won't be trying to replicate that. John uses automotive paint, and i don't think it's feasible. I'd almost cover the cab with pica vinyl and stencil right on it, but that would jack the price up way too much to be reasonable.

Yep, he has a new workshop, and it's on the other side of the parking lot from his apartment! not 25 minutes away, with no bathroom lol. He has a new paintbooth and compressor, and ready to rock.

It'd be interesting to see how these turn out. Not that it matters, but these are Euro Robotrons. They were manufactured in Italy, then exported to other European countries. I have one. Nice cabs. Quite a bit smaller than US Robotrons (narrower, shorter). There's also a few Euro Jousts that got made too.

mine is just going to be a modified RObotron, to get the look. i don't have one to copy, but i had someone who likes the paintjob. No one has dropped a deposit yet.. starting to wonder if this whole project is dead in the water :/

It's just as well you don't have one to copy, as the controls panels are pretty much impossible to find. At least with repro of a US Williams cabs spare control panels can be found.

Good luck with the project.

Giving this till noon tomorrow, seems everyone who wanted one backed out, or at least the lack of response to PM's sent makes me beleive that.

No worries, added to the list! thanks! Brett

This could be a case of bad timing being so close to Christmas leaving many with not a lot of spare cash.

I know I'm planning on getting a few more cabs from you, but it won't be until later in the year. If your still painting cabs I may pick one up than.

Wish I had the cash or use for a Burgertime, I always loved those cabs... For those who wonder, that MsPac cab pic was one I bought from DPTWiz about 2 years ago. It has held up perfectly and gets used quite a bit.
