Tardis Remakes has made a rendition of Pacu-Pacu what some call a 1-dimensional demake of pacman. This is based off of code and concept of Paku-Paku originally written by Kenta Cho. This game runs on original pac-man hardware and you can simply burn the roms, install them on your board and play.
Thanks to whomever posted this on here (y):D
I just want to comment on the "based off of code and concept" thing. It's a complete rewrite - I never looked at the code for Paku Paku, and design wise - although it's obviously is based on Paku Paku - I took my visual cue from the ZX Spectrum version called "Pacman Begins".

My apologies. Fixed and added some quick game play video to my first post.

If anyone is interested, the game now has a v1.1 update, with much higher difficulty :)
Might I recommend that you make all versions of the game downloadable (along with what changed since previous version)? As I believe this is being added to HBMAME at some point it will make it easier for version tracking.

PacuPacu 1.0 - DL link
PacuPacu 1.1 - DL link

p.s. I believe 1.0 was already submitted to HBMAME and I just submitted 1.1.

Thanks!

Good recommendation, but v1.0 is gone now and I believe that v1.1 will be the final one ... but should that change I'll remember to keep both versions ;)
