Hey all, I picked up a "ms PAC" in an original pacman cabinet.

I've done pinball restores before but never arcades, and I'd like to make this original PAC as original as possible. I'm going through the game to get it ready for restoration and I found a few odd things.

There are two bulb holders one on each side of the marquee that it looks like someone nodded to be a fluorescent. Which one is correct?

Also there is a small speaker next to the board that wasn't connected to anything, should it be or should it have been?

Pacman original upright cab hadthe lightbulb sockets on both sides.
Burned the marquee hot! Smart movng it to the tube light, however, not original like you want.

Thanks HSS. What do you guys recommend I do, leave it original and put "cooler" bulbs in it I.e. LED? Put a newer fluorescent in or keep it how t is?

What about that extra speaker? Should it come out? Any idea why it might be in there?

I kept mine original and put in LEDs. They burn cool and you don't need to change anything.

I'd get rid of the fluorescent fixture and just put fluorescent blubs in the original sockets.

Best of both worlds.

I have a Jr Pacman conversion that's in a Pac Man cabinet, I attached a pic of what the marquee area looks like. Looks like it was just bulbs originally. Also I had posted my restore on Youtube, check at this time:

That shows the inside of the cabinet, mine doesn't have that rogue speaker.
