Hey guys, Ive got no red on my monitor, and I've cranked both reds up all the way and still getting nothing. Could it need a cap kit? Thanks! -Jason

A capkit wouldn't hurt, but that's probably not the problem.
Depending on the make and model of monitor it could be any of these:
Cold solder joints on the video/sync input connector.
Cold solder joints anywhere on the monitor boards.
Bad neckboard transistors.
Bad neckboard trimpots.
Cracks in the neckboard.
Bad picture tube.
No red signal from the gameboard either because of a fault with the gameboard itself or the cabinet wiring harness & connectors.
Odd, I have one that has nothing but red.. Hoping it's just transistors for the colors
Nope didn't miss it, just got the monitor, and haven't had time to do anything with it other than go "Yep that's alot of red" 4900's aren't my fav to work on so it's back burner while I rebuild my g07 I'll have to go through my stack before ever having to worry about fixing it.
So, random question, I have lying around a super pac-man FCC filter that has some of the same looking pieces that burnt out on my board, I'm wondering if taking two of those and putting them in the spot of the r-102 and r-103's would fix my red problem?
He's asking if he can rob parts off the filter board.....
If the resistors on the filter board match the resistors on the main board then yes. In order to verify they match compare the color bands.
Here is a quick method of reading the resistor bands:
