Hello,
About 2 weeks ago I saw in a post there was a program where you could change the name of the ghosts in Pacman. I went to the website http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~msilvius/sillyarcade.htm
downloaded the zip file and opened it up but I am unable to run the program properly. When I try to open the file I get a window telling me "an installable virtual device driver failed dll initialization chose close to terminate the application. I have a choice then to close or ignore, if I choose ignore, the program opens but as soon as I select one of the F keys, F6 changes from "more" to "ROM 6J is not found" and the program closes. Am I doing something wrong or is that virtual device driver failure the problem. I'm running XP pro on my computer.
Any help would be appreciated. Have a great holiday.

Here's a Microsoft KB article describing how to get rid of that "virtual device driver" error message: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314452/ If the program runs when you click the "ignore" button though, you probably don't have to do this.

After you extract the .zip file you should have 3 files in that folder: PACMAN.6J, PACNAME5.EXE and README5.TXT. As long as the .6J file is in the same folder as the .exe, it should work. Make sure you're actually extracting the .zip to a folder, not just running the .exe from within.

I didn't place the 3 files in a folder, that apparently was the problem. I missed that in the read me file, program works fine now. Thanks for the help!
