Being more of a pinball-guy, can somebody give me an idea as to what is the typical cause of a small distortion in a video monitor? In this case, the very end of my Pacman display kinda curves out, like the last inch or so. For the most part the picture image is very nice other than this problem. Seen this before but never really knew what causes it or how to fix it. Without a picture handy, basically it looks like a rectangle except at one end where the image goes right at a 45 degree angle. These cocktail monitors don't seem to have much in the way of adjustments either like some of the newer games, either on the monitor itself or in the games diags.

Thanks

Your Pacman cocktail machine most likely has a G07 or WG4600 in it.....
Pics of the chassis and the issue would help diagnose the problem.
Maybe able to be adjusted out? Could be a bad cap? Just a guess sight unseen.

Should have mentioned this is a conversion to a 60-n-1 from a Ms Pacman. The guy I go this from already had it wired up. There are wires that have been cut and re-wired to the monitor, I guess you need to do this to get video from the 60-n-1 board to the monitor?

Here is a link to the pics, couldn't seem to upload them easily. Ignore the name of the website, this is just where I dump pics when I'm selling something. The multicade is not for sale, it my son's.

Let me know what you see since I'm a bit clueless with these monitors. On the monitor frame it says Electrohome, which I guess is a fairly common monitor, at least way back.

Thanks, David

Yeah that is a G07, very common 19" monitor, one of the easier to work on IMO too.
Looking at your pics, I think you can adjust that out???
These are the 4 pots on the main chassis you need to adjust....
Trial and error.......

Hmmm, I did try to adjust those previously to help with a display issue. Maybe this was caused by my other adjustments. I'll try again, thanks!
