I'm getting ready to sell the Pacman cabaret pictured below. I just had the monitor recapped and it is original and in great shape - tiny bit of burn when off. The harness is not hacked in any way and it has the pac power supply set up...

I have never had a cabaret game so I am iffy on what to sell it for...

If I remember correctly they are the metal brackets/supports for the monitor. But I will have to check when I get home tonight.

I was just curious as I've got a restored Pacman Cabaret sitting in my garage and there are no bolts through the sides of the cabinet on mine.

It's probably coming apart and the blocking was convenient place to hold it together. I've seen all kinds of crazy shit holding these together.

And from a price point, at least around here that would be a $400-$600 cabinet but cabarets locally here (Pittsburgh) don't move very well for some reason so they sit waiting for the right buyer.

Restored condition would bring $1K+, again if you find the right buyer.

Agree.

Sold my restored Pac cabaret for $1200

Yep - metal monitor brackets held in place with carriage bolts and zero blocking. The brackets look to be specifically engineered for the cabinet and look to be original...

Here is a Galaxian cabaret with the same carriage bolts:

Those brackets are specific to Galaxian cabarets. They do not come on Pac Man at least I've never seen one. It was most likely added on.

I suppose my Pacman cabaret could have originally been a galaxian and converted, because the brackets are stamped/fabricated and there isn't a single remnant of blocking, staples or screw marks... and are identically placed like these in the galaxian pic...

Regardless... the monitor mounts and carriage bolts are original to this cabinet - for whatever game it was if not a pac...
