When I hook up the CPU and interface board to the power supply, I boot directly into checksum mode. After talking with Steph, I have determined all roms are good. The problem is, I can't get out Of checksum mode. Dip 6 is also set to 'off' which should mean it's out of test mode, but it isnt. If I remove the interface board from the circuit, then the game boots and runs thru the attract mode. I can't coin up or play it without the interface board though, nor is there sound. I am also wondering how/ where the cassette player hooks into the mix. The only connector left is a 6 pos molex, but the connectOr for the tape deck is a 4 pos spade connector. Thanks!

Any ideas? Bad dip bank? Need a toggle test switch hooked up? (currently there is NO switch hooked up) Cap the interface board? Will a Theif interface board work with a Shark Attack CPU? Does anyone own a working Shark attack? Thanks.

You're gonna need a bigger voltmeter.

(Sorry, couldn't resist a Jaw's reference.)

There was apparently another piece of wiring that connected to the 4 points on the tape deck and to the 6-pos connector on the other end. It's shown pretty clearly on the wiring diagram in the manual (top left corner).

Sweet, thanks. Wonder where I can find that little harness adapter? Oh, and Love the Jaws reference!
