Ok, here's an odd one.

I usually troll ebay for Pacific Novelty stuff, as I repair Thief boards and find the company interesting in general, so I'm always on the lookout for stuff. Tonight this pops up:

This game is not listed in VAPS, and I've never heard of it. But after a little more searching, I find the answer: It isn't really a game. Turns out it was a photo booth of sorts, which converted your image to an ASCII art printout. As usual, the allincolorforaquarter blog has what appears to be the only info about it on the web (god bless em):

Apparently Atari and other companies had them too, from the article above.

I don't know if it should be in VAPS, but there wasn't even a thread for it, so I figured I'd at least make this one, in case anyone goes searching in the future. I also bought the manual above, if anyone ever cares, maybe I'll scan it.

Ultimately maybe not that exciting, but it was something I hadn't heard of before, so I thought it was kinda neat.
