This forum feels more like a vintage/Vegas style slot forum, but anyone like Pachislo? I recently picked up a Sindbad Adventure, and might get a Death Valley and King Pulsar. I've also got my eye on a Taiko no Tatsujin themed one (I'm a big fan of quirky Japanese rhythm games so I love that theme). I'm not a huge fan of these myself (although they're fun to run some tokens through), but I think they're a great addition to my game room for guests.

Anyone else dig these?

Hifive paichislo buddy! :)

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a coin mech, hopper, and/or coin door for a Death Valley? It's an Abilit brand slot.

I'm mostly into pachinko but I have 2 pachislo. The one on the left is a Hihouden(secret treasure) and the right one is an Ultraman Club ST. where did you find a Taiko machine? have you seen the Beatmania slot? now that I really would love to get.

Pachislos are cool. I have a Net Trip Devil for over 10 years now and still enjoy it. Next month, my Looney Tunes pachislo will be here. I had an auto-stop board in my Trip Devil but recently took it out to play it without it. My opinion is that these machines are MUCH more fun without an auto-stop board. It gets boring quick with these stopping like a traditional slot machine, but it stays exciting when YOU have to manually stop the reels. It's more challenging!

Check out www.pachitalk.com. GREAT group of people over there that love pachinko and pachislo. It is a great forum and... NO drama! Woo hoo! :)

what is a pachislo?

Hi,

What is a pachislo?

I bot a japanese pachinko with both a slot wheel and it has a wild west animation theme.

Is there a site similiar to this for pachinkos?

I have a couple of questions regarding maintenance and minor repairs?

Thanks,
Chris

pachislo is a skill stop slot machine. pachinko is somewhat similar with the slot aspect, but also quite different. as mentioned before, www.pachitalk.com is the largest forum for pachislo and pachinko. i've had these machines for years, maybe I know the answer to your questions.

Yeah, everyone mentions www.pachitalk.com but I haven't had good luck over there -- I do like www.pachislodb.com quite a bit though. The forums don't see much action, but they are quick to help (similar to this forum). In my experience pachitalk.com tends to be more about "ooh look at all the pretty lights and sounds" and less about "this is the answer to the questions you have". YMMV.

lol yeah I know what you're talking about. certain people on there really know a lot about these things, just gotta hope they see your question.

For sure for sure. BTW I'm up to three pachislo now, although two are in the garage, non working, waiting for parts to arrive. :) If anyone is looking for parts, there's a guy on www.pachislodb.com who is _the hookup_. I'm also digging the Zappa avatar. Just realized, I've got over 1,100 posts but never bothered with an av.. might need to change that.

EDIT: BTW I missed your post asking about the Taiko slot. I saw it on one of the two pachi sites, and it looks like it's already sold. Hopefully they have another/will have more. I love the Taiko no Tatsujin franchise. I've seen the Beatmania one on youtube too, looks awesome. I'm a big DDR fan and enjoy GF and DM, so the Beatmania one is definitely attractive. Only one I've found though is on ebay, shipped from Japan, for about $1100. Pass. :\

Me too! My pachislos get a decent amount of play. I have a Speed Racer and a Yamato. I thought the sides were kind of bland so I added some side art to them.

Missed commenting on this too -- That's a pretty cool idea. Did you have it custom made or did you do it on your home printer? Looks pretty solid either way.

yeah that's a bit too rich for my blood. I see Rita from BlueHotaru had a Taiko slot, hopefully she gets more, although I know the guy she gets em from so maybe i'll just ask him lol. glad to see a fellow Bemani game fan here. I used to have a Cobalt Flux DDR pad a few years ago but sold it....bah. I made a Pop'n Music semi-ASC a few years back as well.

Nice pop'n controller. I probably put the most money into that when I was in Japan, other than Taiko no Tatsujin (10 I think). I'm pretty bad at pop'n though. I also played a bit of paca paca passion, which was pretty cool too.

I do believe it was BlueHotaru, and was around $280 (shipped, w/warranty and 500 tokens). If you know the guy who supplies BH, maybe ask if there's one for me too. I'd sell my Sindbad Adventure in a heartbeat and put the cash towards the Taiko.

i've been trying to go to japan for the last couple years. one of my friends has family there so we just have to pay for flight. although, i'd love to live there for a bit. i'll let you know about the taiko slot.
