Pachinko Machines!

They are noisy and they are fun. Some of the newer machines can have a volume mod done to them to help reduce the noise. I have four of them and I intend to have three of my four mounted to the wall in my gameroom before the end of the year.

Pachi-talk is the pachinko version of KLOV.

I've got two of them here in So Cal for cheap if anyone's looking. They're both modern with LCD screens. One is 'Fever' another is 'Popeye'. Hit me up in So Cal if anyone's looking.

I've got a Lupin the 3rd pachinko and a Kaijii Pachislo, both are fun as novelties but it's kind of like having an 8-liner in your game-room: without the possibility of winning money, the gambling machines get old quick.

don't you have to get some kind of home conversion for the balls or what?

I want a Hissatsu Shigotonin machine relatively badly. I agree that without the option of winning money they get somewhat boring, but some of the machines have so many rare modes you can get into.

The one Hissatsu Shigotonin is awesome has all this chanbara music and this physical katana on the machine that unsheaths (this really bright white light shines and it looks like the katana has been pulled out of the sheath) when you go into a likely win

The Evangelion ones are pretty diverse too

They are a lot of fun. I have the original StarWars and a Lord of the Rings as newer ones. I also have an early electronic one and a Golden Machine gravity feed one from the '70s as well as a pair of pachislots (Death Valley and Magic something (name escapes me)). They are a lot of fun at parties. People that don't like video games will spend all night on those machines.

The girlfriend has said she really liked Addams' Family pinball, Medieval Madness looked cool, and that she thought it would be neat to have a pachinko machine. Guess which one is most likely to happen. :) Been looking around trying to find one she'd like, may be a birthday present for her in the future.

They are pretty fun machines. I have a Freddy VS Jason pachinko and an older Trip Devil pachislo. When they come in this month, I will be adding a Looney Tunes pachinko and pachislo to the mix.

You may not win money, but the anticipation of hitting a fever or jackpot is still there. It's neat to hit them and then to hear all the music and the light show.

Pachinko machines are pretty cool. I got a super cheap '70s one from a yard sale earlier this year. It should be a cool addition to my gameroom once I get some pachinko balls for it.

Look on Ebay, there are a ton of vendors. There is also a guy in San Antonio that restores vintage Pachinkos that may have some. I think he still sells on Ebay. You could save the shipping cost if he'll sell locally.
