Over the weekend, my honey and I got married. It was a perfect ceremony, (15 minutes), with beautiful weather (mid 70s, blue skies, no rain), and a reception held at my best man's house, a fellow collector with over 30 games in his basement arcade.

As such, here is the obligatory wedding cake (cakes, actually) picture!

Ha ha, that's awesome. My wife would never have gone for a cake like that.. she had to have the traditional giant multi-level tower of a cake with flowers and stuff. Good for you for having a 15-minute ceremony, we did the same. After sitting (snoozing) through many hour-long ceremonies, we just couldn't inflict that on our friends.

Congratulations!

So, was that the man's cake?

(My sister was a wedding planner for a few years, and apparently, it's common to have the normal traditional wedding cake (woman's cake) as well as a smaller/joke cake (man's cake). At my sister's wedding, the man's cake was an OU wagon.)

Here is my cake topper ( Mr and Mrs Pac Man lol)

i like those. i was tempted to do those on mine, but chrissy wanted a human style topper. bleh. but i did get lucky and she made me this awesome groom's cake, complete with jumpman and pauline made to look like a bride and groom.

Here was our wedding cake. My wife surprised me with a Pac-Man Groom's Cake. I don't think I even ate cake at our wedding... the day goes by so fast.

agreed. i can't wait to go to my cousin's wedding in may just so i can experience one that's not playing in fast forward.

That Donkey Kong cake with the groom Mario and bride Pauline is all kinds of awesome.

Yeah, we wanted a short and sweet ceremony, a simple 15 minute "get to the point" wedding, so we could get to the reception and pig out and drink 'em down!

The Pac cakes were the wedding cake, there was no separate "guy's cake". The ghost cupcakes were either chocolate cake with raspberry filling, or yellow cake with chocolate filling.

Yum, you can practically taste the pixels!
