So I've started putting my newly liberated Pac together and I've ran into a snag. The power block was hacked together with Vs. Uni parts and the larger transformer from the supply was removed as well as wiring to the power switch, etc. So I purchased a shiny new switching PSU and a new complete switching Pac cab wiring kit from Bob Roberts. Problem being I'm not sure how how this damn original Bally's iso transformer was wired in. Does anyone have a schematic as to how it should be wired? Also the switch on the top of the cab has been melted so I need to run a new one of those since whoever converted this thing melted/disconnected it.

Here's a pic of the stuff I'm left to work with. I was thinking of using the vs. PSU but I wasn't sure if either the 100VAC or 120VAC coming out of it was isolated.

You only need the switcher and that iso in the middle of your pic. You can ditch the nintendo block. Only the monitor should be connected to your iso.

Gotcha. I figured that.. but how is that iso wired up specifically? There's two top wires and two bottoms and the manual doesn't show specifically whats the input/output for the iso. I'm figuring running the power in through two fuses and the line filter and then into the iso/switching psu. Also, would I wire up the neutral up to the interlock and power switch and then back down into the iso/switching?

the bottom ones are the inputs, the top are your outputs.are they not marked on the front side where the lugs are to solder to?

the right hand on the top is the 115vac (i think) out and the other will most likely be neutral, them will be wired to a molex and connect to the monitor chassis molex.

at the bottom one will be the 110vac in?the other neutral, but,i have pacman mini here and i got 3 lugs on the bottom of mine.

i am in uk and i am sure the rating would be pretty much same for you for the monitor.

i checked my pacman mini iso for the monitor, cant see it being any different for you bar mine has 3 lugs and one is for what looks like an earth and that is soldered on and then is fastened to the screw that holds the block in place..

so your input power will go to the bottom and the output at top should have a molex on the end to connect to the power in wiring of the monitor molex.

dont quote me as i am going by pacman mini i got here in uk with uk power.

Correct, the bottom ones are input(although I dont think it matters since its 1:1). The midway transformers will usually have the neutral marked 0V.
