Finally getting around to selling some stuff i've accumulated the last few years. I am no expert, my descriptions will prove that out. Starting with this one to help @Maxwell who got screwed by a klov'r on a ms pac pcb. Maxwell, pcbs are posted here... take a look let me know which one you are interested in, there are 5 pac pcbs, pac, ms pac, jr pac field kit and several aux pcbs https://forums.arcade-museum.com/media/albums/4s-pcbs.2138

I'll include a summary of each one as i go through them again, all items + pirate ship charges
Locals who can pick up in Upland, CA will likely get priority or multiple item offers

Update: I havent had much time to go through and test these, have had some health issues and wife is going in for surgery today (10/20). Assume all are non-working, for parts or needing repair. Thanks!

pac #1 not working, prev repaired (err, stripped?) by gamedoc according to label - SOLD

pac #2 working, kinda - SOLD
this is a ms pac, no aux. the game resets as stated on the masking tape. I think it was after the second level, that could vary I suppose
I was under the assumption all ms pacs were pac man boards w the aux board. this one plays ms pac w/o an aux. Not sure how that is being accomplished, again newbie when it comes to this stuff.

pac #3 - this is the jr pac field kit - status unknown - SOLD

pac #4 - status unknown

pac #5 - status unknown

ms pac aux#1 - SOLD

ms pac aux#2 - status unknown

ms pac aux#3 - status unknown

ms pac aux #4 - status unknown

ms pac roms - status unknown

well, I connected aux #1 to my working game and got this

Put everything back and now I dont get anything on the screen. Not exactly what I was hoping for. ughhh
update on this, my game is thankfully working again.
the issue above was due to misaligning the first set of pins on the chip for the ms pac aux board. i accidentally plugged it back in with the first two legs off the top of the chip, hadnt noticed until i took another look at it. game works fine now but due to recent health issues and my wife going in for surgery today probably wont have much time to go through the rest of the boards and test them out.

thanks

Update: as a relative newb when it comes to this stuff, im told the Jr uses a different harness and does not plug in to a std pac or mspac. Well technically it does but that does not mean it will work or so im told.

there's 2 versions of Jr. Pac-Man. .. Field Kit has all the DC rectification hardware on the board and these are drop-in replacements for Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man. the Conversion Kit uses the power supply and wiring harness from Super Pac-Man and has what appears to be a RF filter board like old Pac-Man, but is necessary to take all of Super Pac-Man's plugs and adapt it to the Jr. Pac-Man edge.

they're easily identifiable by there being the voltage regulator heatsink (Field Kit for Pac/Ms. Pac) or it's just empty in the corner (Conversion Kit)

I think I have this all right. also your board #2 with Ms. Pac and no aux board was probably a single rom mod hidden under the Z80 Sync Bus Controller

@mecha Thanks for the info. I had an addtl pcb which I found that did not have a heatsink, lol it did not work. After discussions w another klov'er and your post i now know why, converted to DC. Hopefully it only took out two fuses and not the board.

Also found a Galaxian pcb (not complete) and had done the same., plugged it into the mspac cab. Drops head in shame...I swear I will never again plug pcbs into a game unless its JAMMA or ive done the research to determine if they are compatible.

Ill post the additional boards below.

Galaxian is missing the satellite board. if that's the 0 garbage game, that's why, it has no game to run. I'm sure that can be single rom modded fairly easy with a few jumper wires.

that looks like a regular Pac-Man filter board based on its name. your Jr. Pac will continue to not work. ;/

Ah, so guess I got lucky I didnt fry anything else plugging in the galaxian board into the ms pac cab

The filter board was not connected to the main board in my ms pac cab, it was just dangling there with the ground strap connected to it. I had seen somewhere they werent needed. I asked a friend of mine who came over about it, whether it was necessary, he said no. He grabbed it and ripped it out of the game. ouch.

Having said all that, I am likely not keeping the ms pac game. I sold my original pac-man a few months ago because I just didnt have the space. The plan was to sell both games and I was going to keep my 20th Anniv MsPac/Galaga and run a BitKit 2. That's why I am selling the various boards.
