i pick up a pacman machine the other day and i was playing it . it played fine for a little bit then line of number and letter show up and go a way come back again and go a way is this a board issue or moniter issue ? moniter has no burn in it ?

post a pic of the screen. also check the power a the board.

is the efi filter(little pcb between the harness and the main board) still in there, if so get rid of it. this is Not a joke.

the harness was hook up to the board and i seen there was a board at the bottom of the cabinet i put it on the main board and it hook up to the harness after that it does it but not as much still does the same thing tho will take pic and a video too

You have a board issue. Remove that filter board, they're nothing but trouble.

I'm thinking that your problem is related to the VRAM address card. That garbage on the bottom indicates that, I think. One of the 74LS157s - I think. I had the same happen to one I repaired.

here is the picture of the board and the screen after i ate one of the dot half the maze went black

You haven't removed the filter board yet.

And you have a board that doesn't have the daughter cards! There was originally supposed to be a chip there, but supplies ran low so they built cards to perform the same function.

I'd reseat all socketed chips at this time.

when i got it the filter board was off it was acting crazy with it off letter and the number would show up and go a way then i put it back on it and it does it a few times now so your saying remove that filter board ?

i toke the filter board off and i will clean that chip and see what happen
