Don't know if this is the right section or not..it isn't really a repair question.

Anyways, after looking at pictures of Pac-Man PCBs online I noticed that I have an extra small PCB between the harness and the main PCB. What could this small PCB be? It has a row of resistors and I think diodes on it. Not really sure why it is there. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks for the reply. I think I may keep it on there even though I don't think there are any AM radios around. I want to keep this thing original as possible. Especially since it has history in my small town.

If your game develops even the slightest problem you should take that out of the mix immediately. Otherwise it doesn't hurt anything to leave it there.

Filter board = an extra set of contacts to get dirty. Neither my Pac or Ms. Pac had filter boards when I got them, which was over 10 years ago. I have yet to see a Pac series game that still has its filter installed.

I have actually run across a few that still had them. If the game worked, then I left them, otherwise removed them (left in the cabinet).
