Pac-Man monitor won't turn on, I believe it's a K4600

I just got this Pac-Man cabinet & the monitor won't turn on but I can hear the game playing, the game sounds a little funny but I'll worry about that once I get the monitor figured out. I think this is a Wells Gardner K4600, it looks like one & theirs a diagram on the chassis of the chassis that's labeled K4605/6-5804. I've worked on plenty of other monitors in the past but I've never worked on a WG K4600 & I couldn't find a common issue that goes wrong with them where they won't turn on, so really I'm just wondering where to start. What should be my first step?

common issue with the 4600, = junk.

the problem on most is they need extra TLC.

give it a cap kit and re-flow the ENTIRE chassis and the 2 cards.

they are plagued with cold solder and bad caps.

if you need parts i have them

if you hit a brick wall and need it repaired, your welcome to send it in.

Peace

first check the B+ and see what you have.
Wells gardner 4600 – 127vdc check with meter black lead on chassis ground and red lead on blue wire of the TR502.

cap kit for sure and i have the 100% nichicon 105c cap kits top quality caps and also recommend the C621 axial paper cap replace it.

check the whole chassis for cold solder joints and make sure to reflow EVERY header pin including the daughter cards.

if you can get a set of known working daughter cards swap them in and easily rule them out as a problem or they are the problem.

BE VERY CAREFUL with the width coil on these k4600's because they crumble apart so i would recommend cutting or desoldering the two brown wires and leaving the width coil on the metal frame when you pull the main pcb.

i have almost all the parts for these in stock if you need.
