Pac-Man ground strap (filter board)

Need advice on best practice please.

When one removes the original filter board between the harness and the PCB, what do you typically do with the original ground strap that is bolted to the filter board? Remove altogether? Bolt directly to PCB?

Hmmm, good idea..... and maybe the end will come into contact with the transformer tabs or one of the fuses!! Good plan!

You can attach it to the PCB using the hole in the top right corner of the board. IIRC, you may have to scrape a little of the mask away to ensure a good connection to ground.

I second leaving it flop around on the floor. it's unnecessary.

but, if you worry about touching fuses, may I interest you in just removing it completely?
