hello everyone i hope your all doing well, the control panel in my pac-man cab needs to be either refurbished or just buy a new, there are alot of holes to be filed and all the wood is missing and for whatever reason the whole thing just does not fit right in the cab itself,

now the coin door looks to be in fairly good shape pictures will follow, there does not seem to be any dents or anything like that on the coin door but its real hard to close it, you either have to slam it or hit it to get it to close all the way, i havent taken it out yet to look at,

cause who ever converted it to touch down fever just solder all the wires to were they would normally just connect too, so if anyone has any advice on what i can do and if i can get a new harness for everything that would help alot too, thanks for looking

EDIT: forgot to add that the coin door seems to be missing some stuff, would i have to get all new parts to fix it?

Yeah, you are missing a lot of parts from the coin door. Someone really stripped it.

Try this site for good used parts for your coin door. I've bought from him a few times.

Normally coin doors can be adjusted up or down, with the screws on the inside of the hinge. Might look at those too.

thanks for that, i tried to adjust it but still didnt fix it, i will probably take the whole thing off and look at it more closely, also there is a spot on the right side where the blue paint got chipped off and i can see some of the pac-man art and it looks to be in good shape

i have read and read and read and dont know what im doing wrong, im starting to strip the paint off my pac cab and im using goof off graffiti remover as it was the only one for paint i could find, but when i spray it on and and wipe it off its taking the art with it,

is there a special way of doing this?

there is probably not an easy way to save the art underneath. it all depends on what type of paint they used. most likely you'll have to strip it to the wood, sand, bondo and repaint.
