Is it the same for Ms. Pac Man? I see Mikes Arcade has them for $10, but I wanted to be sure before I ordered one.

Or maybe someone here has one they'd like to part with? (I'd pay the same price of course).

I have about a dozen original pac mans and about 8 or 9 original Ms. pac mans and they ALL have the same IDENTICAL coin boxes. THese are all original.

OOPS - INSERT FOOT IN MOUTH HERE... I'm sorry they are not the same. I was thinking of galaga and pacman -- sorry all

Yes, Galaga and MsPac are the same. In fact, alot of games used the same as MsPac such as Galaga, Mappy, JrPac(dedicated), professor Pac and probably any other Midway game produced at that time. Galaxian shared the same box as Pacman and probably a few others.

Galaga Same as Pacman

Ms Pac has a metal cage bolted to the front of the cab with 4 carriage bolts. While Pacman, and Galaga have a wooden box.

Lids yes, dividers.. Nope. It would make some sense from an ops point of view to see which side might get more coins, before the advent of book keeping on the game. That way they know if a coin mech has a problem. I imagine they got tossed the first time and op tried to pour the qtrs out though.

Might ask some of those guys that got NIB games to see if theirs game with dividers.

I don't think a divider is listed in the parts list......I do have a few Taito dividers used in ZooKeeper, Jungle King, etc. Taito is the only video game company I've ever seen use dividers in their coin buckets.....now pinballs were a different story.

Yeah, probably just easier to make up a divider than to bother tracking one down. Never actually seen one myself. I'm looking to set my galaga bootleg to take tokens on one side and quarters on the other, and was hoping to keep them separate.

Would be nice to find a lid, but really not concerned with either one.... more just curious.
