If you are removing the entire monitor, you don't need to discharge the picture tube. Just don't go touching the circuit boards or sticking your fingers under the suction cup on the tube. Its been a while since I removed the monitor from a Midway cocktail table but I don't think it is too hard. You will need to remove the glass clips and glass in order to get to the mounting bolts for the monitor frame. First, you will want to open the cabinet and unplug the monitor. After you have done both of those, the monitor should pull straight up and out of the machine. It may be eaiser to remove the monitor with cabinet opened up. I don't really remember. Anybody else do this recently? Anyway, a straight swap should be relatively easy.
