Hello All
Have an upright PM and occasionally when powering up I need to give the right side of the cabinet (same side the main PCB is mounted to) a good slap to make it through the boot up process. This happens about 50-75% of the time. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this andnif so what their fix was. Figure it is either the board or the edge connector. Would Two abuts be my best shot for a replacement edge connector and if a recommendation could be made for a competent board repair facility?

Many thanks

George

the harnesses crap out. if one of the pins in there for power lost its spring tension, that could be a problem. if the fuse holders get cruddy enough it will introduce excess heat and burn the edge connector up. the fuse holders definitely should be replaced. if you still have the filter board, I would just remove it. you'll lose more voltage across that.

Many thanks. Appreciate the response
