Pac-Man blows both 1A 12VAC fuses shortly after powering on

Good advice. I had run through all of that earlier in my troubleshooting efforts. I believe I have found the culprit, and it wasn't the board, nor the fuses, nor the wiring harness, nor the transformer, nor (most surprisingly of all!) my own stupidity...
bro it's been almost 24 hours since I tried to help lead you in on revealing what you discovered.

why do you do this to me?

Well..... have you found the culprit? Are you gonna holler back here what it was so it can be documented for the next poor buck that 🙉 to what @mecha suggested?😂

It's like the suspense of a to be continued show and we're left wondering what happened... 🤔

Ok, the video is now public, so even @mecha can watch.

It was the speaker. Still read 8 ohms between the tabs, but some other kind of internal short was blowing both 1A 12V fuses. Disconnecting the speaker stopped the fuses from blowing, and when I replaced the speaker, everything started working just fine.
