I bought 2 cabs about 2 months ago, a Pac-Man and a Sinistar, both converted, for about $175.
It was converted into a game called Heavy Unit.
The machine came with a beautiful WG K7600, with minimal burn-in.
So far, I've restored the coin door, and started to sand down the back door to paint.
Here is where I started:

Looks great so far! I love seing these restos, going back to what it originally was.

Keep up the good work!

Just went to my PO box to get my CP today...

Started stripping off the old CPO.

And right now I am waiting for the Citistrip to do its thing.

They've actually stopped making Satin Black in those cans. Went looking for it 2 weeks ago when I was starting my ROTJ restoration (thread to come later...I, personally, don't start restoration threads until the project is finished). Good start so far! Are you going to completely re-stencil it, side art, or just clean it up?

I could have sworn I saw some last time I was at Home Depot...

They might have, but I think they're phasing it out. I saw lots of gloss black at mine, but the other colors were all on clearance. They still carry satin black, but in a traditional can with new artwork on it. I used to like that older can design because you got a nice fine spray, but frequently it would clog on me.

Looks sharp! My only critique would be the joystick disk goes underneath the control panel, sandwiched between the top of the joystick frame, and the underside of the cp …other than that looks great!

Fixed... :D
I knew something looked out of place...
When it was converted, the disk was on the top.
