Pac/Jr. Pac/Ms. Pac Amalgamation Restoration & Conversion to Pac-Man Plus (Pac-Man #6599)

Today I pulled the monitor from the cabinet and removed the existing 4600. The picture was fine enough when I first picked up the game and the seller was showing me but the caps were definitely 45 years old.

I had another 4600 I recapped I was keeping around as a spare for the Pac-Man in my lineup but now it has a perfect use for this project.

Monitor should be bright and nice here soon hopefully. 🤝🏻

Coin door is back on and authentic orange T-molding has been installed as well! It's popping now!

I would need to see technique if I actually end up doing that. I would never live it down. I would need to study and study some more visually.

And cosmetically that's a wrap! All that's left now is dial in the monitor and figure out a sync issue.

Not gonna lie this was hard. Really hard. With a pregnant wife, a toddler, and a baby, I'm stretched extra thin. I did what I could when I could and the setbacks with the routing and such definitely hit my confidence but just did my best to run with it and I'm glad I did.

I had no intention of picking this one up but it was 15 minutes down the road and I watched the price plummet after it being listed on Facebook for months and said what the hell, I can make it a Pac-Man Plus with all the other Pacs I have especially given it was already three different Pacs during its life…

Thanks for following along on this one, my second restoration after my Centipede cabaret!

That cabinet looks sharp it came out great! I'm glad you went the stenciled route and not the decals that some vendors sell
