PAC Joins SMAC in supplying games to the Northwest Pinball and Gameroom Show

The Portland Arcade Collectors (PAC) community is joining the Seattle Metro Arcade Collectors (SMAC) community in supplying games to the Northwest Pinball and Gameroom Show this year!

This year the floor space of the show has been greatly expanded, creating much more room for games. Though the Seattle group has done a very good job getting the word out and adding games to the list we were still in danger of not filling the space. With PAC's help 2011 will be the best show yet. Members of the PAC group volunteered to bring up games and their additions will add numbers, and more importantly variety, to the show's game floor.

I'd like to publicly thank PAC for the generous offer and we look forward to having you guys here.

SMAC is taking up a collection to help the PAC guys out with fuel costs. The current plan is to transport the games via a truck and trailer to arrive on Thursday and depart on Sunday. If anyone in the KLOV community would like to help out we have a Paypal account set up at [email protected]. All donations are to be used to cover transportation costs for this event.

Thanks,
OZ

I already chipped in $20 to the gas fund but just the idea that the Portland area collectors are willing to haul their games up here and back is awesome.

Brick Top, we need a decent Discs of Tron upright for the record attempt area (and in fact, it's a PAC member who wants go for the record on it). Pretty please?... :D

Yep, I know Megatron, and he is dangerously close to 200K now, of course he owns the high score on my machine as well.

Problem for me is that I have to work all the way up until Friday night, so the only way any of my games can make it up there is if Charger is coming through Portland in the evening when I am home to help load. Never mind that my games are in a basement with some pretty bad ass stairs to climb.

I will take this off board and see if it is a possibility. Last I heard Mega didn't have a place to stay.

Thanks guys for putting on his bad ass show. It is my first year going and I am looking forward to it.

Thanks OZ. This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you and other SMAC'ers. You guys are great. I'm just happy that PAC generally, and I personally, can help contribute to the best Seattle show yet. And of course perhaps the biggest "thank you" has to go to charger for offering his time and huge trailer toward this effort.
