I decided to get some 3/4" plywood and begin the task of restoring my Pac-Man cocktail. It needed work from the ground up so I used my trusty dusty jigsaw and cut out the 1-3/4" riser for the bottom of the cabinet. Pics are below showing what I was dealing with. I managed to salvage the 45 degree wood corner inserts but will need to resource the round leg leveler brackets since two were missing. This thing had bad levelers and the bottom was rotted due to the moisture. Sure is looking better. I'll periodically update this since I need to restore the control panels at another point in time. Here's the start...

I finally got to use the brad nailer to hold everything together with the wood glue. Anywhere I can find those leg leveler plates? I have the small square ones that Bob Roberts sells but they won't work due to the tight corners. I guess I could try and make them work?!?

Thanks for the link-- didn't know these were available. I'll have to add some stuff to meet the minimum!

Nice thread! :)

I have to do some work on my base as well, so I am watching this close. If you order any other parts for this from them, please post which ones are for this cocktail. I was looking for control panel screws to pad an order, but I wasn't sure if they were the right ones. I need to order the 1"T-molding, so these leveler plates will help pad my order, too. :)

Got the base primed, painted and installed yesterday. Just waiting on my hardware order to complete it. Make sure after you paint it to pre-drill pilot holes for your wood screws. I used 2-1/4" size 8 Philips head screws for the install. Make sure to run them slowly towards the end of your run or you can crack the plywood. I figured this out on the first two holes, oh well. Anyway, I rest the base back up on the floor for the glue to adhere to the bottom of the cab.
As time permits, I'll be working on the CPs and touching up the black paint on the sides as well. I used Rustolem auto primer and then Rustoleum satin black for the paint finish.
