PA system and blacklighting added to Lost Highway...

I added this Regency CB(Japan 1977) to my arcade. I got it off ebay a few years ago, unopened and never used. Jim(YodaInMn) soldered up a connector for the PA for me and also supplied me with a heavy duty regulated power supply. I bought some shielded wire and then mounted the CB to the wall behind the booth. Wired it up to the loudspeaker that is mounted to the top of the booth. I think everyone will have fun messing around with it at my next party. Its loud and a lot of fun to speak into.

I also mounted a blacklight behind the Emerg sign and painted a little message on the backdrop flyers:

1001 RED

SECTOR A

CHEMICAL

WEAPONS

TEST ZONE

Looks pretty cool. Kinda creepy. More pics on my photobucket link(signature)

Your game room is truly one of the most unique I've ever seen. Great job and I always enjoy your pics and updates. It's just too bad Minnesota is not closer to Nashville as I would love to see it in person. Thanks for sharing!

Well, if you ever travel north PM me before you leave!

That is awesome Johnny. The hidden message? Sweeter than a peter dipped in maple syrup. I love what you've done with the place.

Great stuff! Looks like you don't have the CB connected to an antenna? If not I would suggest that you not try to transmit because the SWR will be way off with no antenna and will damage the transmitter. That is if you care at all about transmitting.

EHHHHH- wrong! as long as it's on the PA switch no trouble to worry about.
Although you can always hook up a dummy load and see if any of the AM RF will trickle through the arcade game audio! ;) Nice job Johhny boy-- glad to see you got another ISP up and runnin'!

How is what I said wrong? Cause it isn't.

PA circuit disables the rf tx circuit for 11meter cb. You're just using the audio output portion of the radio rather that the transceiver portion.
