I know the transistors on these neckboards get way hot with the crappy heatsinks on them. Is there a better set of transistors out there to use? Chad has a few of the new k7400 monitors with the improved neckboards, just wondering if it uses the same transistors or if there are some that run cooler. I just changed out neckboards in my die hard cab and would like to make this neckboard a little bit better for next time.

i honestly dont know. It is a big problem. The main prob ive seen is that the heat sinks DONT FIT TIGHTLY.. not tight=no heat transfer...

If i ever end up with a game that has one of those i will be adddingg a small fan to blow across the heatsinks and also reinforcing the traces with caplead or desoldering braid BEFORE they melt thier way out on thier own..

I'd like to do that, but it's in a sega plastic cab. I think a fan would work, but it would be a pain to install, and I'd like to know if there are some better transistors that don't run as hot.
