i feel ya. i currently have 6 on my pin row and i love each one of them. i like playing them, i like looking at them, i like that my kids like to play them, and i like the smiles on people's faces when they visit and i tell 'em to "fire one up."

the vids appeal to certain people too, and even if someone isn't into them they usually think it's neat that i have a few, but pretty much everybody likes pinball.....i can't count the number of smiles on people's faces when they step up to a pin that i've seen at my house. and people you'd NEVER expect to "game"....

pinball rulz.

Same here! I enjoy simply looking at them, especially when lit up of course. And yes, it's a strangely nice feeling "owning" pins. Especially when non-pin people come over and you see that look of amazement on their faces.

Like you, I own 3 plus one arcade game.

i have two that dont work haha and im constantly looking for more
they are in my garage i enjoy the double takes of people especially kids when driving by

I've only had mine for about 7 months, but the cool factor hasn't worn off here either. I really like having them and they do make you smile. I've always liked pinball but until last year it never really dawned on me to get my own machine. I'm glad I did, they are fun.

It's always interesting when people walk into my place and see the pinballs. Their eyes light up like they've seen a long lost friend.

I never imagined owning arcade games let alone a pinball machine. Now the more I see it getting put back together after that terrible accident months ago (RIP backglass)... the more I want another. The next on my list is either Meteor, Stellar Wars or Diner.

I miss my SpyHunter, GameRoomKid. I was messing around on YouTube the other day and took a boo at my video I made when I was selling it, wish I had held onto it. Ah well, I got three others and hope to include a TSPP this year...

I never imagined I would have one, then I got my first for free. I restored it 110% and then got my second for free. Restored it and moved on to buying my A lister and restored it.

I formed a bond with them as funny as it sounds, from restoring them and I can't picture me getting rid of one!

I felt the same way with my first arcade game. Then my first pin. Then many pins after that. It's been a while now since I really stopped and appreciated that I've realized a dream. It's a nice realization when it does happen.

I have most of my games in the basement but I was playing my F14 in the garage with the door open. Someone called the police because they saw flashing lights (they thought I had a police car in my garage). The police showed up (I was done playing it and it was turned off) and they asked if I had a police car in my garage.

Nothing came about but it was funny.

I could agree more. For the first time since I started collecting in about 1999 I have all my working games up and at my place (thanks to a huge basement in the new house).

Now, when I go down to do some work in the basement (currently working on my Robotron) I turn everything on

For the Super Bowl I had a party of about 25 people. A couple people that came had no idea I was into collecting games. It's pretty cool to walk them down during the 'tour' and see their expressions.

On two occasion I've actually heard from 'other' people out in about something like 'Trey said you have a killer basement'

Pretty neat stuff

i started off always trying to find pinball machines and slowly i was offered video monitored arcade games as well. pinball is way more fun because no 2 games are the same (the ball will always go a different way each game) however THAT DIDNT STOP ME FROM FINDING THE VIDEO GAME THAT ATE ALL MY MONEY AS A KID...............................a konami simpsons!

Next time get pics of the cops playing F-14. :D

I couldn't agree with you more.

I'm more of a video game guy, but I do like pins also. I've had my Skylab EM pin for over 13 years now. It wasn't until last October that I finally added to my pin collection - a minty Revenge From Mars machine. I think that is the coolest pinball game I've ever played and having attended CAX for years, I've played alot.

It's got me looking for one more pin. Not sure what it's going to be, but if the rumor mill is correct this time...I'll be lining up for a Stern TRON pinball game if or when they come out. If it does not materialize, well then I'll suffer through with a Black Hole, or some other one.

There is no if, only when (April/May).
