hey, does anyone else have an outrunners? ive got everything working but the sound and the feedback motors in the steering, i cant figure out where i get the 18.5 volts for the speaker amps or the 35 volts for the motors, i dont know if its cuz im new to this or just stupid but ive got the manual and wiring diagrams and i still cant figure it out, any help would be much appreciated, thanx

If I'm looking at my schematics properly, the 18.5 and 35v are both coming directly out of the iso transformer. It appears from the diagram that the 18.5v and 35v both have a separate connector coming off the transformer.

does your schematic show what color the wires are? i dont know why but almost all the wires in my manual dont match my machine, there are 9 wires coming out of the transformer that are not hooked up to anything, there are 2 red, 2 orange, 2 gray, 2 red w/yellow line, and one gray w/white line, thanx for the help by the way

On page 89 of the manual, there is a wire color code table that corresponds the numbers on the schematics.

Double check with a meter, but it should be:

Orange: 12v
Red & Red/Yellow: 35v
Green & Grey/White: 18.5v

Please check these with a meter, as I could have misread the schematics, or your transformer may not be original.

hmm, well i tested them and the orange reads 12v, the red and red w/yellow reads 38v, and the grey and grey w/white reads 19.8v, now for some reason the main fuse keeps blowing when i turn it on, if i unplug the monitors it starts up fine (this is the only way i could test those wires) but as soon as i plug in either monitor it blows the main fuse, i tested both monitor plugs and they read 125v is this right? the manual says 100v, i just put these monitors in last tues. and they were working fine till last nite when i had it on for about an hour then it popped the fuse, any ideas? thanx ben

this sux

well it looks like it killed both monitors i just installed, i took them both out and tested them with a different cab and nothing, hopefully they are fixable, im kinda leary about putting them back in if i get them working again, they were working great hell the whole machine was working good, im not sure what to do now

I think we need a little more detail to help out on this one. Was the game working fine before?
Why was the 18v and 35v lines not plugged in?
What monitors were in it, and what did you replace them with, etc, etc.

I guess what I'm really asking, is this a stock game that just had replacement monitors, or is their a lot of hacked wiring/parts in the game?

well it is stock and everything was working great except the shaker motors which are 35v and werent hooked up and the subwoofer amps which are 18.5v and werent hooked up, there were alot of wires cut when i got it, but they were pretty simple to match up with the manuals help, the monitors that were origionally in it were wg 25k7 monitors made in 93 and the ones i used as rteplacements were 25k7's made in 90, everything but the date of manufacture was the same between them as far as i could tell, the 18.5v and 35v wires were not hooked up was because they were the last few wires i couldnt figure out how to hook up( there was no plug to plug them in with when i got this)
