I have a supposedly working outrun board in most of a cab that I got from a guy, but I want to test it before I spend any money on the parts that I am missing. Unfortunately, one of the things he did was pull all of the wires and parts out of the cabn.

I want to test the board on the bench to make sure it powers up, but I am a bit confused on the voltages. I have the manual, and I see where there is a 5V line to the main board and a 5V line to the video board. I also see that there is a 12V audio amp, but it also seems to have two wires going to the video board.

Are these 12V power for the video board? If so, can anyone point me to a polarity on them? Is there a better way to be doing this whole test?

Thanks!

To answer my own question, it needs +5VDC from the power harness and +12VDC on the controls harness.

For what it is worth, I hate those funky easy-lock connectors. They are a pain in the butt to test and clip to for troubleshooting.
