I'm trying to straighten out the shifter plate on my Outrun cab.

To do this properly I'm trying to separate the plate from the other bits, but I can't figure out how to remove the shaft from the block at the end..

There looks to be a small hole, but it doesn't look to have any thread or makings for a small allen key could be used.

I've seen just the shaft for sale, so it must seperate somehow..!

Any ideas?

I think that small hole has whats called a "shear pin" in it. You might be able to tap it out or drill it out but I'd be careful.

This. It's a roll pin. It can be tapped out of the small hole using a similar sized piece of metal (I used a sacrificial drill bit to tap it out)
