So i picked up an Outrun Mini for a retro arcade im setting up ( more info on that soon). Guy had it listed for $200 so i called him up. He said he needed it gone so he would take $50 for it. This was something he threw out, i hadn't even tried to haggle with him yet. Sounds good to me. I drive to his place and hes got it outside (covered) by his pool. I can smell it as it has really bad water damaged smell. He said it was working but it didnt when i was there. Normally i would walk but the game was complete and ill always pay $50 for a working monitor. I had already pulled the monitor and was planning to trash the cabinet. After returning from another road trip to pick up a turbo outrun (supposedly in good shape), i realized that the Control panel and bezel werent in "location ready" shape. So ive got a working turbo outrun with an unusable cabinet and a mini with a water logged cabinet. So this weekend i decided to repair the Mini and convert it to the Turbo. Ive got all the parts i need just need to fix it cosmetically. So the mini gets a reprieve. Also im planning to build a seperate foot rest that will attach to the front of the machine. Since the machine is on casters i want to be able have the footrest lay flat when on location. Ill try to post pictures of the rest of the resto as well as the finished machine. thanks for looking.

P.S. Im not an expert carpenter so im sure you would have done things a little differently so please go easy on me.

Everything done but to get the shaker motor to work and build some sort of platform for the pedal and red t-molding which has been ordered. I couldnt get the turbo button to work so i pulled the outrun chips from my non working outrun board and swapped with the Turbo board. Now its a fully working Outrun!
