Outrun Mini monitor Bezel?

I've never ordered from this place, but I know someone used this for their Outrun restore:

They have it in three colors, you obviously want the grey shown at the bottom...

Thanks JC.

I originally thought it was black and after a closer look, well, it's just really dirty gray...

Rebuilt the steering today with all new gears, wasn't quite as easy as I planned in my head. By no means is it hard, it's just more than a 5 minute job.

Every single original gear was cracked.

As for the bezel, I thought $75 shipped was a real reasonable price.

These Sega cabs typically came with Nanao monitors, but most have had them replaced as they have a high failure rate & are difficult to repair. I don't believe any of the '80s Sega games had Wells monitors from the factory. In order to fit a K7000 into my mini Outrun, I had to hack the left/right sides off the frame, it wouldn't fit otherwise.

There's probably a yellow degauss button inside your coin door that does nothing due to the monitor being swapped out.

That's odd you had to cut the frame I just picked up a mini with a necked k7000 pulled a burn free k7000 off my bench dropped wright in

Is it originally a grey mat though? I presumed it was black.

Might take a punt on the bezel myself, my glass is flaking a bit.

I ordered a piece of gray. Should be enough to do 2 machines if I don't mess it up the first time. If you are intested i'd split it with you as long as I don't need it because of mistake.

As for the monitor, I don't see a yellow button or any cut wires.
The manual says the monitor is a 20 inch 200-5090 or 200-5095.

Might be a different frame. Mine was in the K7000 "compact" 19" frame. But all the 19" K7000 frames I've come across would have needed to be modified to fit.

Could I ask if you ended up buying this, and if you have received it?

Also, if so, was it shipped in good time?

Haven't received it yet, nor did I receive a shipping notification.

I'm guessing mine is being made to order, so I figured a couple weeks.

I was going to email them and ask today.

Another bump! How's the bezel looking?

Unfortunately I have yet to receive the bezel.
I was told it would ship april 21st, although I received the notification on the 28th.
But that notification from fedex just says they were notified about the shipment. Fed ex says i'll be notified when it ships (which I haven't been).

so...

Bezel came this past Friday.
I'm pretty impressed.
$75 well spent.
Took a little longer than expected to get it, but it's not like I had a whole lot of choices anyway, it was worth the wait.
It was a tight fit, the overhang of the T molding made it pretty tough to get in.

Capped and reflowed the monitor (my god were some things loose on this chassis, can't believe it worked at all). The cap kit made a serious difference on this monitor.
All new steering gears too.
Also installed the outrun mod chips, worth the $35.
I still have to install the mat and do something about the pedals, what were the pedals supposed to look like on this thing? I've seen them polished and in black. Right now they look like they were black and all the paint wore off.

Looking good! Thanks for the pic - Might have to invest in one myself If I can't touch mine up.

RE: the pedals, they're supposed to just be a polished metal finish. Mine were all crappy, so I took them to a local powdercoater who got rid of the grime and I then polished them up..

Bezel and monitor look nice. Can't wait to stop by and play it next time I take the kids to Great Adventure. :D
.

Was just at GA yesterday, lol. (i'm about 3 miles, worked there from 15 to 21 years old).

I kinda feel like pulling the pedals and having them powdercoated black. I just don't see where polished fits in with this machine.
