Don't think these will be done. I can't get my NOS Lunar Lander thrust cover back that I lent him to reproduce. Won't return emails or PM's. Said it was in the mail 2 or 3 times already over the last 4 months. Nothing.

Odd.. There was a guy on RGVAC many years ago who started reproducing some plastic items and I think he did Nintendo buttons, then he vanished.

If someone in the vid/pin hobby was already involved in plastic work and was capable of this, seems like they could make a little money doing some projects - obscure pinball ramps and parts, Out Run stuff, buttons, Tron stuff.. Oh well.. I guess I'll fiberglass and paint my crappy Out Run dash.

Naah, he's just really bad at communication and following through. He also thinks folks like to wait indefinitely, until they forget about these products he promises, then one day he'll shock and surprise everybody by actually producing one or 2 of them. On a related note, I never did get the Midway Monitor bubble he kept promising me. I was told the same thing as Stephen, it will ship today/tomorrow/next week/next month, but nothing. I am not out any cash, but I just don't like being sought out, contacted, promised something and ultimately lied to. I think he means well, but just doesn't have the time to devote to these side projects, as he gets busy with actual contract work. I believe you may eventually get what the man promises you, I just wouldn't expect it any time soon.

Well if this one gets done, I think they will all be sold. I will def pay for mine as long as it gets produced. Maybe one of the re-sellers can plunk down for a larger run to make sure these get done. Even raw plastic would sell, it doesn't exactly need to be finished goods.

Like Mylstar I too sent him my Outrun mini dash as a reference to reproduce at great expense from the UK, I am not able to replace it.

He hasn't posted anything for a month. Contractor work is starting to churn heavy these days.

You can also add me to the list of people who would definitely purchase a new dash, map and bezel for my Outrun if they were produced.

My originals would need some major work to be restored...does anyone have information on doing the fiberglass work and restoring them? I was hoping someone might have some restoration step photos, as mine has a bad hole repair and several cigarette burns. It would need some fiberglass work before paint.

I would definitely prefer to get repros over spending the time to restore the originals.

Its been like over two months now and he still aint been here? Looks like Im never gonna see that Outrun Mini dash I sent him from my own cab to make a mould with, and $40 out of pocket for sending it in the first instance from the UK.

Man this hobby brings out the flakes. Is anyone interested in a Neon Recognizer sign? Cuz I know a guy. Reread my last post. The guy is horrible at communication. He also promises more than he can deliver in a timely fashion. Not sure why he came here with all the fanfare and promises when he first signed up, as he has only partially delivered on one promised item since then. I have a feeling he was underwhelmed at the interested parties vs. actual sales ratio when his bubbles were finally done. Or maybe I'm completely in the wrong and he is gonna surprise everyone with these dashes in 2 or 3 years. Either way, Ram Controls ain't got nothin' on the Foo. (except maybe $25,000 more ripped off dollars).

Common dude! Not necessary! just asking if someone might know him. Foo may not be one of them, but there actually are people out there that are good and just fall on bad times or make bad judgements and ultimately vindicate themselves. He may indeed be "gone with the merchandise", but just trying to help out, unlike yourself.
