Hey all, long time listener, first time caller.

I recently acquired an Outrun Cabaret and am trying to resurrect it. I have everything (I think) except for the gear that attaches to the steering potentiometer. If anyone has one, or an assembly, or any info on how to acquire one, it would be greatly appreciated.

Otherwise, if anyone has any info about the physical size, tooth count, or anything that would help me get one machined, that would be great as well.

If it's the one actually attached to the pot shaft, I believe that's the "D" gear, Sega P/N KR-1129. Someone may have some old stock of that, or as already posted, salvaged from other CPs.

Thanks again, Mylstar is the only person I've found selling Sega NOS, he's helped me with a couple of other parts, if there's someone else out there, please let me know. I'll continue polling the audience...

i forgot about mylstar he has a krapton of nos sega stuff. he even has a nos monitor buble for my afterburner. LOoks like your cp takes the same guts as a standard upright cp does so if you find someone with a used upright cp that gear ought to work on yours.

bwah! I need a "D" gear and the metal CP cover itself.
"D" gear is the one that attaches directly to the steering potentiometer.
Please PM me if you can help at all!
