Hi guys, I picked up an Outrun upright that I would like to restore. It still has the original sideart but it has seen better days so I would like to use a repro.

I have noticed that in most repro sideart he image of the car is mirrored on each side, the male driver switches place in the car when you look at the right cabinet image and the left cabinet image.

My existing sideart has the driver on the same side of the car, on both sides of the cabinet, which I believe is correct.

I have found one place that seems to sell the correct sideart (waiting to get a final confirmation on that), artworkdoctor.com

Does anyone have any experience on the quality of this sideart?

Thanks,

Paris

Thanks, I think he has the mini upright art but I will get in touch with him to discuss this further...

Artworkdoctor has generally not got good reviews at all. Just do a quick search.

I suggested Rich because if he can get it done, it will be done right. I shipped him my Afterburner and Outrun sides, peeled off, underlying vinyl and all. He's done the Afterburner art, but not sure if he ever finished Out Run. I have my Out Run cabinet ready for sideart, but my Afterburner is still bumpy particle board and old glue. Restoring Afterburner will be a nightmare and I've put it off.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your comments, waiting to hear from Rich.
