I hate to say it, but I seem to always have one game out of order.(the sad thing is, i have only 10 games.)

So with that said, lets see some of the best out of order signs.

Here is one i saw this morning.

Where were you last week? I had a few games down for my kids party last Sat, and had to try to find something online quick.
So its generic, but it got the job done.

Here is my "Little John's" themed one attached via a suction cup on the end of the arrow.

somebody out there has a nice cleaned up version of the willis "this unit damaged in battle" sign with torn up looking metal etc, looks really neat!

a friend of mine found an old "out of order" sign in the back of one of his games from Hop In. I need to get him to burn a copy of it for me

My out of order sign

Okay, since I searched around the interwebs and didn't find any I liked (that were free), I decided to make one of my own. The arcade machine image was "royalty free" but NOT a free image on the internet. Therefore I actually paid for the license to use it. It fits perfectly on a regular 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (Note: In your print setup, choose to print in grayscale, or the image may not appear correctly). I'm offering it up as a PDF to the VAPS community for free, as long as you follow the conditions below.

You may download/save the file if:
1) It is for YOUR OWN PERSONAL USE ONLY.
2) The file is not renamed and posted up elsewhere on the internet.
3) The image, fonts, copyright, etc. are NOT altered in any way, shape or form.

If you want to point others to this VAPS forum thread to find the image, that's fine. If I do find altered versions of this sign on this forum or elsewhere, there will be hell to pay.

Have a nice day! The link for the sign is below. Enjoy.

A preview of the sign is also attached.

Hmm......
you may be setting yourself up there with the above statement in this crowd - lol!
thanks for the sign anyhow.

You're welcome. It's not like I'm asking for anything for it. I'm offering it up for free to the community. I would hope that people respect a copyrighted work.

Nice. I like this one better than any of the others. Thanks for sharing.

No problem at all. I figured since the VAPS community were the ones most likely to utilize something like this, why not?

Here's a pic of the sign on my Pengo (even though it isn't busted). :)

Same one as previously posted, but I like the old smoky arcade feel of this one.

I thought that cabinet image looked familiar on trickmans sign. It looks just like the first MAME cabinet I ever built, way back in 2004. The plans were free at that time, but I think they morphed into the mameroom cabinet plans that you now have to pay for.

What's really funny is the line in the middle of the speaker panel. I used a piece of elastic fabric on my cab (sold long ago) to cover the staples I used to attach the two pieces of speaker cloth in the middle. That's what made me think of my cab.

[joke]Trickman, you'll be getting a cease and desist letter from my lawyer![/joke]

Hehe, wow, that is really funny! I didn't know the image was based off those cab plans. The creator could have sold the vector image (It is an Illustrator file) to a stock illustration/graphic house. I DID honestly pay for the rights to use that image though. It wasn't taken from someone's MAME plans. :)
